Hotel Manager



One of the top management cruise ship jobs with overall income per month between $4,000-$4,800.

Requirements: Preferred is Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration.

3+ years experience as General Manager, Resident Manager, or Director of Operations for a hotel, resort, or cruise ship (high volume preferred).

Fluent English, preferably with 1 additional European language.

Computer knowledge: Word, Excel, and Fidelio.

Ability to give and receive written and verbal instructions, effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and guests.

Strong leadership skills and practice "leadership by example". Professional appearance and excellent social skills.

Responsibilities:

Oversees the entire Hotel department.

Plan, direct, and coordinate activities within the department.

Observe and monitor performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to company's policies and procedures.

Serve as a coordinator between the departments withi this divisions, and maintain complete cooperation among them.

Assign duties to staff and schedules shifts.

Purchase supplies and arrange for any necessary outside services.

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance.

Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services and resolve guests' complaints.

Maintain guidelines, policies, procedures and training practices set by the Corporate office.

Receive and process advance registration payments, send out letters of confirmation, and return checks when registration cannot be accepted.

May collect payment and record data pertaining to funds and expenditures.
