Executive Housekeeper

Requirements:

3+ years of management experience in a hotel or cruise ship.

Fluent English and preferably 1 additional language.

Computer knowledge: Word, Excel.

Strong leadership skills and practice "leadership by example".

Professional appearance and excellent social skills.

Well-organized.

Outgoing personality, open minded and flexible.

Ability to perform well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Supervision of entire Housekeeping department.

Maintain highest standards of cleanliness in guest suites and public areas as well as in Officer and Crew areas.

Responsible for flowers and plants.

Supervision of laundry.

Direct all housekeeping program to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions onboard.

Establish standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff, and plan work schedules to ensure adequate service.

Inspect, evaluate physical condition of rooms, and submit to management recommendations for painting, repairs, furnishings, relocation of equipment, and reallocation of space.

Periodically inventory supplies and equipment.

Organize and direct departmental training programs, resolve personnel problems, and evaluates employees performance and working relationship.

Maintain records and prepare periodic activity and personnel reports for review by management.
