Requirements:

Previous housekeeping experience.

Fluent English and preferably 1 additional language.

Pleasant, positive and outgoing personality.

Flexible and punctual.

Well-groomed and neat appearance.

Responsibilities:

Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.

Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.

May move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, hang draperies, dust venetian blinds, and polish metalwork to ready hotel facilities for occupancy.

Deliver ironing boards, baby cribs, and rollaway beds to guests' rooms.

Wash windows, sills, and door panels.

Collect soiled linens for laundering, and receive and store linen supplies in linen closet.

Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors, using brooms, mops, powered scrubbing and waxing machines.

Clean rugs, carpets, draperies, and upholstered furniture, using vacuum cleaner.

Dust furniture and equipment.

Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, and bathroom items.

May wash beds and mattresses, and remake beds after dismissal of hospital patients.

Replace light bulbs.

Arrange decorations, apparatus, or furniture for banquets and social functions.

Prepare sample rooms for sales meetings.

Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays.

Transport trash and waste to disposal area.

Assist guest with packing/unpacking if required.

Create a warm and pleasant atmosphere for guests.
