Recommend measures to improve work procedures and staff performance to
increase quality of services and job safety.
Supervise and coordinate preparing and serving of food and other related duties.
Collaborate with specified personnel to plan menus, serving arrangements, and related details.
Receive, issue, take inventory of supplies and equipment, and report shortages to designated personnel.
Assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations to employees.
Specify food portions and courses, production and time sequences, and work station and equipment arrangements.
Resolve customer complaints regarding food service.
Initiate personnel actions to ensure proper staffing.
Analyze operational problems and establish controls.
Record production and operational data on specified forms.
Schedule parties and reservations, and greet and escorts guests to seating
arrangements.
Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and
conformance to standards.
