Requirements:

College degree is preferred.

Previous travel related job-experience.

In-depth knowledge of ports of calls.

Excellent public speaking and customer relations skills.

Strong leadership skills and practice "leadership by example".

Team player.

Outgoing personality, open minded and flexible.

Professional appearance and excellent social skills.

Well-organized and excellent organization skills.

Ability to handle people and emergency situations.

Fluent in English and preferably in 2 other languages: German, French, Italian or Spanish.

Word, Excel, Fidelio.

Responsibilities:

Plan tour itinerary, applying knowledge of travel routes and destination sites.

Explain applicable laws to group to ensure compliance.

Sell or rent equipment, clothing, and supplies if necessary.

May administer First Aid to injured group participants.

Verify quantity and quality of equipment or supplies to ensure prerequisite needs for expeditions and tours have been met.

May arrange transportation, accommodations, activity equipment, and services of medical personnel.

Select activity tour sites and lead groups to location and describe points of interest.

Prepare reports and cruise end accounting.
