Casino Manager

Requirements:

Graduation diploma from casino school or experience.

At least 3 years experience in a management position within the casino industry.

Responsibilities:

Direct dealers compiling summary sheets for each race or event to show amount wagered and amount to be paid to winners.

Establish policies on types of gambling offered, extension of credit, odds, and serving food and beverages.

Observe and supervise operation to ensure that employees render prompt and courteous service to guests.

Explain and interpret house rules such as game rules and betting limits to guests.

Prepare work schedules, assign work stations, and keep attendance records.

Review operational expenses, budget estimates, betting accounts, and collection reports for accuracy.

Train new dealers and evaluate their performance.

Resolve customer complaints regarding service.

May record, issue receipts for, and casino bets.
