Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities:
Provide guests with the highest quality baked goods.
Requisition all products for bakery.
Mix and cook pie fillings, pour fillings into pie shells and top them with meringue or cream.
Mix ingredients to make icings, decorate cakes and pastries, and blend colors for icings, shaped ornaments, and statuaries.
Cut, peel, and prepare fruit for pie fillings.
Mold doughs in desired shapes, place them in greased or floured pans, and trim
overlapping edges with knife.
Ensure economical food production and minimization of food waste.
General cleaning and maintenance according to the (U.S.P.H.) standards.
Assist management with training and induction of new personnel.
Weigh and measure ingredients using measuring cups and spoons.
Spread or sprinkle toppings on loaves or specialties and place doughs in oven using long-handled paddle (peel).
Cover filling with top crust.
Roll and shape doughs using rolling pin and cut dough in uniform portions with knife, divider, and cookie cutter.
Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.
